Zhao Yun

Zhao Yun , with the character Zilong , was a native of Zhending, Changshan. Zhao Yun was an eight-foot-long man with a majestic face. He was a famous general of Shu Han at the end of the Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period, and was known as the “Three Swordsmen of Yannan” together with Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. Zhao Yun followed Liu Bei for nearly thirty years, and participated in the Battle of Bowangpo, the Battle of Changbanpo, the Battle of Jiangnan, and commanded the Battle of Chuanzhuan, the Battle of Hanshui, and the Battle of Migu, which all achieved very good results. After Zhao Yun’s death, he was posthumously awarded the title of “Marquis of Shunping” in the fourth year of the reign of Jingyao of Shu Han.
