Ruby is a patrolman in the northern part of the Crescent Peninsula, and since all of Ruby’s family members have been killed by magical beasts coming out of the sub-dimensional rift, she has a sense of mission to stop the sub-dimension, and since she and her mother made a pact to smile at everything, she doesn’t feel frustrated even when she is in a situation of fear and despair.
